Visible from the Turku Market Square, the impressive National Romantic granite building of the Turku Art Museum beckons to walk up the Aurakatu street towards the green Puolalanpuisto park. Looking from the city market place, the museum's granite facade rises at the end of the street at Aurakatu 26.
museum yard is reserved for the personnel and handicap parking, which is
situated to the right of the main entrance. Paid parking space can be
found around the museum and under the
Puolala Park, Parking Louhi (entrance at Läntinen Pitkäkatu 12b).
Local busses 1, 11, 110, 13, 18, 19, 2, 22, 28, 32, 6, 61 stop at Maariankatu, below the museum, next to the Aurakatu crossing. It's less than a 10 minutes walk to walk from the bus station or from the main railway station.
